I think it is vitally important that wherever possible, local businesses should be the first place you look to for the purchase of goods or services. I do understand that this is not always possible for everyone, particularly with such constraints caused by the cost-of-living crisis, but if you are able, please try to use local businesses first. Calne DIY
What used to be Trotmans in the shack on the pippin, Calne DIY also known as Erols, is now in a shop on the high street. Much easier than travelling all the way to B&Q in Devizes or Chippenham, and if they dont have something, they can probably get it. Would B&Q do that? VP Collins
This farm shop is based just down the road in Bromham. Its a great place to get fruit and veg as well as pumpkins for haloween. They also have a stall at the Market in town on fridays.
